KING TIGER BELMONT is our fourth King Tiger Charlotte location to open. Master Robert Shin, Master Evins' first black belt student, started classes in 2010.

KING TIGER SOUTH CHARLOTTE is our third King Tiger Charlotte location to open. Opened in August of 2009 by Master Rome Chin-Beightol, it is located in the Park Road Shopping Center off of Park Road in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The literal meaning (translation) of Tae Kwon Do is “foot, hand, art”- or the way of the hand and foot. However, Tae Kwon Do means much more than kicking and punching.  It is a non-violent discipline that achieves the goal of inner peace by conditioning the entire body.  This art originated in Korea and it is now the most practiced martial art in the world.

King Tiger Tae Kwon Do Kinston has been training and sharing the benefits of martial arts with Kinston, NC for over 17 years. Our state of the art training center provides the perfect backdrop for developing the skill and determination needed to succeed in martial arts.

My name is Seongkeun Park and I am the owner of King Tiger Tae Kwon Do Academy. When I began my martial arts journey, the positive impact it had on my life was remarkable. It was always my dream to someday own my own school and when I opened King Tiger Tae Kwon Do Academy in 1988, I made a commitment to our community in Murfreesboro to create an enjoyable environment for students to improve their fitness, while building confidence they can carry into their everyday lives. It is my privilege and honor to take the the knowledge I have received in my own martial arts training and pass it on to the students at my school.
